About Us

In today's society, there are many attorneys who practice with a self-serving mindset. However, it is critical to us that we practice with a different mentality. It is our mission to serve our clients with humility, honesty, respect, and the highest level of professional integrity. By practicing law this way, we believe that the long-term success we will achieve will be much greater.

Ultimately, our law firm mission and values can best be understood through the statement:

"And as you wish that others would do to you, do so to them."  Lk 6:31.

KEVIN E. WILLIAMS

Attorney

Kevin Williams has been practicing law in the southwest suburbs of Chicago since 2006. Starting out as an associate attorney at a small boutique trusts and estates firm in Darien, Kevin began handling a full caseload of probate and guardianship cases very early on in his career. In practicing in the various probate and guardianship courts ranging from the 18th Floor of the Daley Center in downtown Chicago to the probate courts out in DuPage and Will Counties in Wheaton and Joliet, respectively, he developed a passion for practicing in these areas of the law.

After four years as an associate attorney, Kevin jumped into solo practice in Aurora in 2010. Already having experience in Cook, DuPage, and Will Counties, he added Kane and Kendall to his geographic locations, thus covering most of the Chicagoland area.

Prior to practicing law, Kevin attended Butler University, located just north of downtown Indianapolis, in Indiana. Because of his interest in the world financial markets, as well as the management of various kinds of assets, he majored in Finance at Butler, graduating in 2003. Thereafter, Kevin decided to pursue a career in the law, and attended the University of Dayton School of Law in Dayton, Ohio. He received his J.D. from the University of Dayton in 2006.

When Kevin isn’t practicing law, he enjoys spending time with his wife and three boys, listening to good music (from a wide variety of genres), or diving into a great book (especially a thrilling mystery). Kevin is also an avid sports enthusiast, having played basketball either competitively or recreationally for most of his life.

Q & A with Attorney Kevin Williams

  • Why did you choose to focus your practice in Probate and Guardianship law?

I decided to focus on these two areas of the law because I enjoy helping families. I believe families are important, and I want to be able to alleviate some of the stress that inevitably comes when a family member passes away or has mental capacity issues.

  • What makes you unique as an Attorney?

While many attorneys intentionally work to create a certain “untouchable” image, I strive to be open and upfront with my clients.  Whether it is with emails, letters, phone calls, or in-person meetings, I want my clients to know that I care about them as people, not as just another case at my firm.  Because of this, I have been able to develop great working relationships with my clients over the years, even when handling more complex probate and guardianship issues.

  • What do you enjoy most about practicing law?

I truly enjoy counseling clients and helping them to understand complex issues in simpler terms.  Probate and guardianship can become very complicated, and I like to be able to eliminate a lot of the mystery by keeping my clients informed and educated.

  • How many Probate and Guardianship cases have you handled in your career?

I have had the privilege to handle literally hundreds of probate and guardianship cases over the course of my career.  Because of this, I have been able to become very experienced in these areas due to my concentrated focus.
